What are you most thankful for?

With Thanksgiving around the corner, we can’t help but allow ourselves to reflect on the people that make us feel grateful for their presence in our lives—family, friends, job, the cop who let you off with a warning. What about the members of your group project?

See how thankful you are (or aren’t) for your fellow group members with the quiz below.

After being assigned, or choosing your group, your reaction to your fellow members was:

Ok, those two look promising, but that girl looks like a flake who will contribute nothing.

Seriously? Looks like I’ll be doing the entire project myself.

A sigh of relief.

It could be worse—at least I’m not in that other guy’s group.

When allocating assignments:

Everyone willingly volunteered to take on more than their share in order to make sure everything gets done.

Everyone took responsibility for a piece of the project pie—except for that girl who is “too busy.”

You were able to allocate everything…to yourself.

Everyone sort of sat there waiting for someone to make the first move, but eventually split each task evenly amongst the group.

Meeting with your group results in feelings of:

Alright, everyone is here, and that girl brought cookies!

Well at least the productive people showed up.

It’s only for an hour—I can get through this.

What meeting…? I’m the only one doing the work, so no sense in meeting.

Deadlines for your group means:

Almost everyone had their work done.

You’re chugging along. You’re the only person you need to worry about finishing on time, since you’re the only one working.

Everyone waits to the last minute, but you eventually get everything rounded up.

Each person completed their part early, and had time to revise.

Next semester, you have the same people in your class and another group project:

Not a chance. You avoid eye contact with all of your old group members and jump ship to another, more responsible group.

You sort of just meld into the group forming closest to you—which happens to include one of your old group members.

A few of your former group members signal to form a group again, and pick up someone else before that one girl can join again.

Done. You and your group members already decided on being in a group together again.
